The Congregation of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary has several official patron saints, whom we are invited to invoke and imitate in a special way, and pray for the Marian Fathers and their mission. Among the patrons is Saint Michael the Archangel.
Prayer on back:
Saint Michael the Archangel,
patron of the Marian Fathers
of the Immaculate Conception,
please hear my prayer.
Help the Marian Fathers live their
charism as true “apostles of Divine Mercy” under the maternal and loving guidance
of Our Lady, the Immaculate Conception.
May they also continue to assist the
Holy Souls in Purgatory
and serve Christ and His Church
faithfully and fervently in the spirit of their Founder, St. Stanislaus Papczyński. Amen.
Saint Michael the Archangel, whom Holy Scripture describes as “one of the chief princes” (Dan 10:13) and leader of the forces of Heaven in their triumph over the powers of Satan and his followers, has been especially honored and invoked as patron and protector by the Church from the time of the Apostles. He is a mighty defender of the People of God. Feast day: Sept. 29.
